Proofs for the God of the Bible Below are ten lines of
proof that show that the Bible is true,
and thus is reliable and should be respected as the very Word of God. Archaeological proof. Every archaeological dig proves the Bible. The history of the Bible is always borne out by archaeological finds, never the reverse. Many have set out to disprove the Bible's various places ever existed. The attempt to disprove and then the ultimate discovery of Sodom and Gomorrah for example have ended up establishing the historicity of Scripture. In all the history of this science, not a single piece of evidence has been found to refute the Bible record. All discoveries rather refute the critics and corroborate the unerring majesty of the Scriptures. Prophetic and historic proofs. It has been said that without the Bible, mankind's history would be a spectacle of unknown rivers flowing to unknown seas. It is the only book in which we have solid evidence of our ancestry. To date, every single Bible prediction of future unfolding events has come to pass exactly. It is the only book in the world that even attempts to prove itself through detailed foretelling. On every occasions the details are fulfilled exactly. Many thousands of predictions made by the Bible have been verified, including detailed descriptions of the rise and fall of empires, Kings and even individuals such as Alexander the Great and Napoleon are depicted in the Bible. The odds of such occurrences by accident are trillions and trillions and trillions to one. A modern observance of the fulfillment of prophecy is the ongoing regathering of Hebrews in Israel today. Manuscript proofs. Better preserved and more numerous by far are the Bible manuscripts, more even than the works of recent authors such as Shakespeare. The Dead Sea Scrolls prove the modern texts to be nearly exact to the ancient. The ancient Scriptures have received providential protection through various channels such as the Jews, monks, churches, sects and governments. The modern discovery of the Jesus papyrus proves that the Bible dates to the time of Jesus. Scientific proofs. The theory of evolution continually runs up against solid reasons for its fallacy, i.e. the first and second scientific laws of thermodynamics, no transitional forms in the fossil record, the findings of stasis and extinction of species, the Cambrian explosion, the sudden appearance of man's art writing and history, and on and on. DNA and genetic evidence disproves evolution by sheer virtue of the giant volume of information contained therein. Mathematics proves that evolving by chance is impossible. Most scientists arrive at the conclusion that the Universe is approximately 15 billion years old, which is simply not nearly enough time for evolution to have been the cause of life's development. All the true science (based on empirical evidence) points to Creation as the theory that is always borne out by the findings in its predictions. Astronomical proof. Astronomy is another science that proves the Bible. The original signs of the Zodiac have been counterfeited with different symbols or pictures from the original. From the dawning of the heavens the story has been written and stored in the sky about a perfect creation, a serpents deceit, and sin entering to cause the fall of all, only to be rescued in due time by the "only begotten son" of the Heavenly Father, and the ultimate restoration to the original perfection once enjoyed. This is the origianl meaning of the symbols in our sky. Mathematics proofs. The Bible text in its original language is interwoven with a dizzying array of three's, fives and especially sevens, the Bible number of completeness. The first sentence of the Torah alone contains over two dozen sevens, counting letters, words and other methods of counting. The use of sevens has been said to be the acid test for Scripture authenticity. If a verse is not divisible by seven it may be spurious - an addition of man either in letter or line. Both Greek and Hebrew contain this phenomenon known as "Bible numerics", which is not found in other books. Pyramid proof. The Great Pyramid of Gizeh turns out to be a stone witness on earth for God's Divine Plan of the Ages in the Bible. The building stumps modern technology in its craftsmanship and it contains hundreds of scientific and mathematical truths that could not have been known by any human being. The weight of the earth, distance to the sun, exact quadrants of earth, true north, the value of "pi" and every exact means of weights and measurements are shown in the Pyramid. Most amazing of all, The Great Pyramid is filled with Bible chronology covering earth's history as told through Scripture, pointing to the dates of Adam, Noah, Moses and especially Jesus, whose life and death is pointed to in a myriad of methods of measuring including straight, diagonal, vertical horizontal, using trigonometry and many other types of corroborations. His birthplace, Bethlehem, also foretold in the Bible, is clearly marked by the Great Pyramid. The entire plan of God for man is neatly and simply portrayed by its chambers and passages, which still stump the experts and Egyptologists, unless looked at through the looking glass of God's word. Isaiah 19:19-20 locates it exactly and calls the pyramid "a sign and a witness unto the Lord." Bible code proof. The recently discovered phenomenon of equidistant lettering sequences is in the Bible text is another proof of the Bible, although still debated. Research indicates that by examining certain skip sequences in the Hebrew Textus Receptus, that detailed predictions of earth's recent history can be clearly seen, including the names of famous rabbis, the dates of their births, deaths and birth places. Also modern events are shown in the various code grids. Some say that many things can be read into Hebrew which is written without vowels, or that other books contain similar phenomenon. The codes, discovered only by computer, are quite compelling and deserve further study. This furnishes a most definitive proof of the bible's divine origin and reliability. The Jews and the Holy Land proof. The Jews, the people of the Bible, are alive and regathering in Israel. Their ancient connection to their homeland and to the Bible furnishes perhaps the strongest of all evidence that the Bible is reliable and factual. The Holy Land itself in its topography or geographical layout is an exact depiction of the Bible plan of salvation: The Dead Sea as the lowest water on earth symbolizing the dead world or dying humanity, then climbing up to mount Sinai, symbolizing God, with various other details, furnishing topographic proof confirming the Bible account. Also, the great conversion power of the God of the Bible in people's personal lives can be added as proof. Both the Hebrew Bible and the Gospel of the New Testament have had the effect of turning around completely the lives of even murderers. It is most commonly seen today as effectively curing drunks and drug addicts and other types of criminals. People's "eyewitness" or personal accounts are often extremely dramatic, accompanied by tangible evidence in their changed lives, far beyond what could be expected from a mere placebo or mind cure. They show evidence of the Supernatural. |
