Iran-Israel nuclear endgame is now much closer

Since 2001 there were about five
geopolitical moves that still needed to be made for all the squares of
the biblical rubik's cube known as Ezekiel 38 to properly line up.
*For starters, Iraq needed to be taken off the table. Done.
*Secondly, animosity between Gog (Russia) and the West had to build up.
Done.
*Third, Iran needed to make bold strides in becoming an prominent
adversary to Israel and the West. Check.
*Fourth, Tubal (Tblisi - capital of Georgia) had to somehow align with
Russia against Israel and the West. Ta Da!
*And last but not least, Turkey had to harden against the West and
align more with Iran. See below.

P.S. By the way, the Georgian president informs us that the invasion
actually began at 11:50 PM on August 7th - for any chronologists out

In the
year 2000, the
Ezekiel picture could not be fulfilled. Iraq was a powerful enemy
of Israel, yet how could they avoid being listed in the final scene of
Ezekiel 38? Providence has allowed for Iraq to lose it's capacity
to fight against Israel. Other nations depicted in Ezekiel (see
below) were lining up as well.
Yet more pieces of the puzzle yet remained: How would the
breakaway republic of Georgia be involved if they were aligned with
NATO? It seems that on 8/8/08 a partial answer is in view.
Their NATO bid is at an end, their alliance with Israel is now known to
Moscow, and the war is going from grave to worse, as now more provinces
are becoming involved. (See the black text

Another missing piece of the puzzle was Turkey needing to become
adversarial to the NATO allies and Israel. I believe this is
falling into place as you will read.
Tha last difficulty was the northern horn of Africa. Since we see
that area as included in the Ezekiel 38 picture, how and when will they
develop Iranian ties? The following news story is of interest...

Soviet military regime has a long history of always owning one of the
largest standing armies and one of the largest standing navies, even
prior to the Revolution. Ever since they have celebrated
militarism above all else, televised to the world with yearly dazzling
displays before the politburo in stark red. Horses and horsemen
are philosophies (doctrines) and their promoters, who have trumpeted
Anti-Semitism, the teaching that supports their military actions.

"in the latter years" =
possibly better translation: "latter years OF the
last days"
"Restored
from war" = Could it not refer to Israel after 1945? They were
not a state yet at that time, but after the world war the
nation of Israel was restored by very reason of the war itself.
The U.N. helped create the state of Israel, and in May of 1948 they had
been restored to a nation. The land of Israel itself was the
target of Adolph Hitler and his Muslim cohorts during the war, and so
after the important battles of World War II that stemmed the tide of
Rommel's charge through Africa toward the Holy Land, it could be said
that the land itself was "restored from war." The nation of
Israel was brought into being - again. It was because of the war.

like a storm, you
will be like a cloud
covering the land you and all your hordes, and many peoples with you. |
Many
people see this as happening all at once at the end of the world.
Perhaps. It was a longstanding strategy of Saddam Hussein of Iraq
to create a "million man army" that would cover Israel like a cloud all
at once. This is symbolic but also perhaps quite literal, however
in a different way than most commentators view it..
A storm cloud may take
weeks
to muster, which could translate to years of symbolic political storm
cloud gathering. A storm cloud may sit and hover, as Israel's
enemies always have, it may rain, pour, or just pass....
Could it not be that this is referring to the "demographics" issue that
has taken center stage after many decades of Arab influx into the Holy
Land? This verse describes a growing danger, just like a slowly
advancing weather storm. The threat of Arabs one day outnumbering
Jews within Israel has guided Israeli policy all along as the issue of
supreme importance in the Arab-Israel conflict. The Arabs demand
their "Right of Return" - the right to literally flood the land with
alleged refugees from their own failed attempt at conquest.

Anti-Semitism
is the evil thought. It may turn out that the Russian KGB, who
recently were found to have issued an order to assassinate the Pope, is
also responsible for the very plan that the Arabs have implemented
against Israel; to use a fictitious "Palestinian" people to create a
wedge in order to destroy Israel from the inside out.
Other evil thoughts that
enter
the minds of nations may have to do with chemical, nuclear and
biological weapons.

"Unwalled
villages" = Israel prior to statehood, 1947
Their plan was always the same, to attack Israel, kill the inhabitants
all at once, and take their property and their land. They tried
it in 1948, they tried again in 1956, again in 1967 and again in
1973. So there is no missing this fact for anyone who's lived
through the last half of the 20th century, this was their plan all
along, and it has not changed, but for the nuclear element.

Recent events [2008]
show that
the Olmert led government in Israel is negotiating the dividing of
Jerusalem itself - long considered by many Bible students as THE SIGN
of the immediacy of the final "last days"conflagration.
Anti-Semites know the Bible story. Arabs and atheists alike are aware
of the concept that "The Law shall go forth from Zion, and the Word of
the Lord from Jerusalem". This they hope to pre-empt at any
price. There are many examples of the fulfillment of this
passage, none more blatant than May 1948, when seven Arab armies
attacked to prevent Israel from becoming a state.
The Jews lived there in numbers, having gathered from the nations
gradually since Herzl in the late 1800's, adding to the numbers of
those who already dwelled there.

The
NATO nations, the Capitalist Alliance, were always the direct opposer
of all Soviet policies in the Middle East. These policies shaped
the very nature of the entire cold war. Arab armies have always
been supplied by Russia and still are today, while Israel is the
traditional ally of the West. In the verse, the words in quotes
represent the war of words that characterized the cold war, where
hardly a shot was fired in anger, but both sides constantly accused
each other of bad motives and false pretenses. This is diplomatic
language.
Tarshish= Celts in
Westernmost
Europe including Celitberians (sp?), Britons, Welsh, Irish, Scots,
Belgians, Galicia (southern Poland), Galatia (central Turkey)
Sheba, Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish can mean Yemen, Kuwait,
United Arab Emirates - nations now aligned with NATO and under American
influence.

GOD: On that day when my people Israel are dwelling securely, you will
bestir yourself |
Many
think Israel has never yet experienced "dwelling securely" and
therefore they look for this to happen after a future war. Could
it not be that "dwelling safely" happened at the time of the creation
of Israeli statehood?
From the time of the Roman destruction in 69 AD they had not had any
opportunity for "dwelling safely", not while living in the mostly
anti-Semitic nations to which they were dispersed. Now that the
Holocaust had ended, they were returning to their own land and
establishing a state, finally standing on their own two feet as a
nation. May 1948.
This is a sight that caused the communistic/atheistic forces to
unite with Islamic opposition to Israel, forming an unholy alliance
that
has been at Israel's throat for decades without a moment of
peace. Does this defeat the premise of "dwelling safely"?
Not when you consider that Israel's nuclear weapons program has kept
their Arab neighbors and their Russian handlers at bay, thus "dwelling
securely" indeed for many years now.

and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great host,
a mighty army; |
From
up north (where it should be none of their business,) here the
Russians, diplomatically and politically as well as militarily and
physically, have literally kept Israel surrounded by enemies and
made sure those enemies were well "armed to the teeth" for going on 7
decades now. Even last year, [2006], Russian leadership has
endorsed Syria, Iran and the Hamas representatives of the
"Palestinians" - the wedge to destroy Israel.
Horses are doctrines or teachings, and here the teachings inspire
immigration to Israel. At the heart of the Arab plan to destroy
Israel is the teaching of the "Right of Return" - Arabs returning
to lands lost in the 1948 attack on Israel. Leftists and
Socialists inside both Israel and in America only add to this army of
those against Israel.

like a cloud covering the
land. In the latter days I will bring you against my land, that the
nations may know me, when through you, O Gog, I vindicate my holiness
before their eyes. |
These
enemies are "against" Israel in an adversarial sense, not necessarily
locational. Since they are like a cloud covering the land, it
appears that the enemies are actually found inside of Israel, or want
to be inside Israel, and that is exactly the case as it stands today,
even as Arabs vote with Knesset seats inside Israel's own government
which institutes policies that are anti-Jewish - uprooting Jews
from Jewish land in appeasement of their enemies.
The last line of this verse is ongoing, and in the end the world will
generally catch onto the fact that God exists. They will see this
through the visible and somewhat gradual defeat of this Russian/Arab
alliance. There is nothing to prove that event must happen in mere
moments or days. I submit that is has been ongoing for the last 7
decades and is nearly complete. Upon completion, the world will see at
last for instance that "Allah" is not "greater" than Yahweh, nor is
atheism, communism, socialism, or any other doctrine that opposes
God's Zionism of any effect.
To coin a word that would summarize not only this entire chapter, but
also the entire period of nearly 70 years I would call it
"Anti-Zionism." It is near it's zenith now, and I believe it to
be in it's death throes. Whether or not it will take more than
monetary bankruptcy to completely defeat Russia remains to be seen, but
seems likely.

Here
the Bible student is directed to search the Scriptures, specifically
the writings of the prophets, and Obadiah's story regarding "the
Edomites" is parenthetical to the narrative of Ezekiel 38.

I
like the translation that says "will come up in my nostrils".
God's spirit is opposed to Anti-Semitism. The people who are
opposed to Anti-Semitism are of God's spirit, while those who are
Anti-Zionists oppose God's spirit, and often display the traits of the
spirit of Satan.

For in my jealousy and in
my blazing wrath I
declare, On that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of
Israel; |
After
so many centuries of "Allah is greater", I would think that jealousy is
just on the part of the Almighty Yahweh. The "fire" is not
necessarily literal, but refers to the level of intensity of emotion
our Creator must have in the protection of "the pupil of his eye", the
Jewish nation. The "shaking" is not literal either, though some
expect an actual earthquake. Every day in Israel there are
political
upheavals and shakings among the various political and religious
classes in Israel, among both Jewish and Arab populations. The
point is that literal blazing and shaking are not required to fulfill
these events.

birds of the air,
and the beasts of the
field, and all creeping things that creep on the ground, and all the
men that are upon the face of the earth, shall quake at my presence,
and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the cliffs shall fall, and
every wall shall tumble to the ground.

Some
of the group categories are listed here. The details will be for
another time. The men are the leaders of governments. They
"quake" at calamities near and imagined every day as this characterizes
our day. The "presence" is the parousia of the returned Messiah,
from 1874 to today. The mountains are governments, especially
that oppose Israel, such as Iraq, Iran and Syria. The cliffs are
the high crags of society people hold onto such as banks and the
various public trusts. The walls are states that relied on the
banks. Perhaps. This is just my view - but seems to be born out in recent days
[2008] by the failure of several banks and government bailouts of
public trusts.

terror against
Gog, says the Lord GOD; every man's sword will be against his brother.

Post
1914, Russia has suffered under the terror of Revolution, World
War, a second World War, mass starvation and oppression, plus the fear
of nuclear annihilation from the West. In 1989 they collapsed
largely from within. Today they experience terrorism from
Chechen guerrillas. (See "Beslan")
Beslan is in North Ossetia. Today, Russia has attacked Georgian
forces in South Ossetia. Truly they are beset by terror as those
territories that were once unified under the Soviet flag are now at war
with one another.

bloodshed I will enter
into judgment with him; and
I will rain upon him and his hordes and the many peoples that are with
him, torrential rains and hailstones, fire and brimstone. |
In
contrast with the freedom loving Western nations, the Eastern bloc has
been mired in miserable circumstances as punishment for their stance
regarding Israel. They have traditionally suffered sickness and
death from war at a much higher rate than western nations.
Pestilence and war have not convinced them of the error of their ways,
therefore comes the torrential rains - the flow of information - that
will destroy their false teachings ("horses"), while hailstones
represent hard truths that will destroy the crops sown by the evil
seeds of anti-Semitism. Fire and brimstone are symbolic of
complete destruction, as the system of error is overthrown over a
period of many years time.
The literalness of this
passage remains to be assessed. However Israel has over 1,000
military advisers in Georgia prior to the war in S. Ossetia.
Georgian forces were being trained in Israeli military weapons and
tactics, as Israel has oil interests there - in the pipeline to
the sea where they have planned shipping routes. They offered
Russia a stake in the enterprise and were rejected. Now it is
thought that Moscow may seek to punish Israel for their hand in the

all is said and done people will see for themselves through the events
of history the utter bankruptcy of the vain philosophies of Atheism,

of
Anti-Semitism. When the smoke finally clears, be it literal or
symbolic, the masses of people will finally become aware of the
presence of the Messiah, as He will, as Yahweh's vicegerent, begin noticeably overruling earth's
affairs.
